As a young child she often watched her older sister style hair in a small town beauty shop. After cosmetology school, she worked at Lockworks for Hair. Within the first year she was awarded the Rising Star award and soon found herself traveling the US and abroad alongside owner Sam Brocato as a platform artist and haircutting educator. She spent 12 years in Beverly Hills servicing a notable Hollywood clientele at Planet Salon, also teaching haircutting classes to new interns and traveling abroad to Canada. Now residing in Abbeville, Louisiana, she divides her time between various salon companies in Louisiana, including Mercer Studio and Paris Parker Salon. She mentors and shares her love of haircutting to all levels of hairdressers and hosts private workshops. She now owns Refine Hair Studio, a private one chair salon in downtown Abbeville.
